Cook/Chef

Main Duties and responsibilities:

Food preparation throughout the business
Participate in opening/closing procedures for the restaurant/kitchen
To work with the kitchen team to develop menus and offers which reflect customer demand and support and maintain the company ethos.
Ensure that all relevant control procedures are in place to deliver accurate production records and effective waste management, using ‘Safer Food, Better Business’
Stock control, ordering and purchasing
Ensure that the kitchen team comply with the policy on personal hygiene and uniform
Ensure cleaning rotas are operational throughout the food production and service areas
To attend team meetings with the management as required and contribute to the development and growth of the business through the sharing of good practice and your own experience
Liase with farm shop staff for stock replenishment and identifying new products/opportunities
Work with “Safer food better business” manual

Waiter/Waitress Full Time Permanent

You will :
• demonstrate excellent customer service
• be a self-motivated team worker
• a good communicator
• have high standard of hygiene
• be able to work under pressure
• have a flexible attitude towards working
• have good literacy/numeracy skills
• Experience using EPOS tills an advantage

You will have
Two current referees
UK citizenship or valid visa to work in UK
Own transport essential
.
Salary on dependent on qualifications and experience
Flexible seven day rota to include weekends and bank holidays
28 days holiday p.a.

Farm Shop Assistant

Seasonal General Assistant

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
We aim to ensure all guests receive the best service in all areas of the farm whilst made to feel welcome. During weekends and school holidays the Farm can get very busy where the quality of customer service, attention to detail, providing quality catering and ensuring the health and hygiene at the farm is paramount. Our staff are required to be energetic, enthusiastic, responsible, trustworthy, hardworking and reliable.
Roles vary on a day to day basis with each member of the team having their own responsibilities depending on the areas you are trained in.
Responsibilities can include:
Admissions Gate
Farm Shop
Play Barn
Coffee Shop and other catering outlets
Seasonal Attractions
Cleaning
Toilet Checks
Seasonal Displays
Other duties also include cleaning, litter picking etc
Experience
No experience is required but we ask you to be enthusiastic and willing to learn.

Rates of Pay:
16yr £5
17yr: £5.50
18yr+: £5.75
21yr+: £6.50:
Subject to change in line with government guidelines.
