Experienced Waiter/Waitress FT Permanent

You will :

• Experience using EPOS tills an advantage

You will have
Two current referees
UK citizenship or valid visa to work in UK
Own transport essential
Salary on dependent on qualifications and experience
Flexible seven day rota to include weekends and bank holidays
28 days holiday p.a.

Outdoor Team Leader Job Vacancy:

To maintain a high quality, safe and well run attraction and to deliver an excellent visitor experience
To manage the daily operations of the farm park ensuring staff have clearly defined roles, responsibilities and objectives with measurable performance systems in place.
To ensure staff operate efficiently and with high staff morale.
To implement staff development and training programmes.
To lead and minute meetings with team members, and ensure action points are followed through.
Liaise and communicate effectively with the Managers and Company Partners.
To maintain exceptional levels of cleanliness, tidiness, repair and maintenance within the farm park.
To ensure the farm park and staff are fully compliant with the Industry Code of Practice.
To ensure high levels of all aspects of animal health and welfare (including record keeping and breeding programmes).
To lead and implement exciting educational packages aimed at a range of ages and abilities.
Work with the managers and partners in formulating new operation systems/ and attractions for the strategic development of the farm park.

Experience in an animal care/management role or similar essential.
Previous experience in leading team members essential.
Working knowledge of the ‘Industry Code of Practice for preventing ill health from animal contact at visitor attractions’ essential.
Experience in small animal care essential.
Knowledge of equine care
First Aid qualification desirable.
Tractor driving qualification an advantage.
Strimming and Chainsaw experience an advantage.
Must have own transport for work.

Excellent communication skills, with an ability to build rapport with customers and foster good relations with staff
Ability to disseminate information to team members (including junior staff and volunteers)

Dependant on experience

Working Hours/Holiday
Full time flexible rota, to include five days per week.
Includes weekends, bank holidays and school holidays.
28 days holiday per annum.
6 month probationary period.
